Ayming shortlisted for the 2018 MCA Awards for work with Great Ormond Street Hospital
Ayming was recognised for its work with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and was shortlisted for the “Performance Improvement in the Public Sector” award. The MCA Awards, administered by the Management Consultant Association, commend excellence across the UK’s management consultancy industry, which undoubtedly sits among the best in the world. Ayming was recognised for its successful restructuring of GOSH’s procurement framework and its multi-phased modernisation strategy.
After a highly successful pilot project, Ayming used their strategic planning expertise and, by creating clear and reliable data, successfully eliminated interdepartmental stock ownership confusion and optimised inventory management processes, effectively reducing excessive stock levels. This made the procurement system drastically more efficient, organised and cost-effective, freeing up ever valuable time and capital for staff.
