Ayming was delighted to collaborate again with CommBeBiz, the “Home of the EU Bieconomy Research Community”, which provides a bridge between business and EU funded research projects in forestry, food, agriculture, biotech and marine. Dr Caroline Elston-Giroud, European Grants Manager at Ayming, featured on CommBeBiz’s latest webinar where she shared her approach to better business planning for bioeconomy researchers.
Caroline shared her insights gained from both her time in a research environment, whilst achieving her PhD in Biology-Biochemistry, and from her experience over the last 12 years spent working with businesses and research organisations to help them secure innovation and funding incentives and grants.
In this short video, Caroline discusses her eight-step approach to business planning and how this relates to key milestones and activities in European grant applications and projects, and within the overall context of scientific research.
